Freediving in Finland is not necessarily the most approachable sport and Finland's climate and water temperatures may not be optimal for diving. Freediving, however, is a very diverse hobby that can be enjoyed in swimming pools and open waters, and there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy freediving. It can be photography, spearfishing, length or depth diving, snorkeling or challenging your own borders in freediving competitions. However, the most important thing is to start your freediving journey safely and the freedive course is a best way to get the information you need for your safe diving. Freefall Finland Freediving School wants to bring freediving education available for everyone so that the threshold for taking part in the course is as small as possible and it would be as easy as possible to attend the course. Therefore, we hold our courses around Finland and bring the course to your city. Although freediving is generally considered to be an “extreme” sport, in reality the nature of the sport is very calm and serene and fits in some form to almost everyone. Basically, it's about breath holding so you could say that the freediving is suitable for everyone who breathes. Freefall Finland's story starts from 2012 when our instructor took part in the first freediving course and then completed a freediving instructor course in 2015. Throughout the course, the idea of a freediving school was born and Freefall Finland Freediving School saw the light of the day in 2016. Since then, we have organized freediving training all over Finland, including in Taivassalo, Leppävirta, Paimio, Espoo, Kuopio, Seinäjoki, Ylivieska, Vaasa, Oulu, Lahti, Joensuu, Uusikaupunki, Eura, Kuortane, Kitee and Kangasala. Would you need a freediving adventure in your city?
